Step 2:
Assessing
Your Project

If your project aligns with our capabilities, we will provide a detailed cost estimate along with valuable feedback from our experienced engineers.

Our engineers serve as “Delegated Design” for cold formed metal framing, ensuring seamless integration into your overall project plans. We submit our designs to the Engineer-of-record (EOR) for approval, working collaboratively to achieve optimal results.

We also offer two engagement options:

Supply and Install: We handle everything from design and fabrication to on-site installation, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Supply Only: We provide prefabricated CFMF elements ready for installation by your chosen contactor, offering flexibility for your specific needs.

Step 3: Collaboration and Information Sharing

Once you select NFS, we will request the following from your Architect and EOR:

Revit/CAD Files (Architectural and Structural): This allows us to design your wall panels and trusses accurately, preserving your design intent and minimizing potential rework.
Latest Architectural Drawings: Ensures we have the most up-to-date information for our designs.
Latest Foundation and Structural Steel Drawings: Crucial for coordinating CFMF elements with the overall structure.

Early collaboration allows the EOR to focus on other project aspects while we work on our drawings, streamlining the process and saving you valuable time.

Step 4: Deliverables

We provide comprehensive deliverables to coordinate a smooth transition from design to construction:

Stamped CFMF Shop Drawings and Calculations:
All CFMF elements and foundations (if applicable) are approved and ready for fabrication.

3D Model for Coordination:
A detailed model showing all CFMF elements within scope, including (if applicable) walls, trusses, foundations, and more.

Participation in Multi-Trade BIM Coordination:
We actively collaborate with other trades to help provide seamless integration of all building components.
